been compiled from various print and online sources. The Bookologist does not assume
responsibility for any errors that might be contained in it and encourages both additions
and corrections from its users. Please note that a given designation, though usually definitive in identifying a true first printing, may not in fact be. Issue points (variant states of a first printing) may apply as well, and sometimes only an authoritative bibliography of the author in question will produce a final answer. Note also that imprints of publishing houses appear in this list but are not so designated.
