Announcement: New German Bookselling Site
By Edith Reynolds
May 30, 2004

ZVAB, or Zentrales Verzeichnis Antiquarischer Bücher, is a new selling venue based in Germany. According to their Web site (http://www.zvab.com/), the cadre of antiquarian booksellers is large and diverse, "these include more then 1400 antiquarian book dealers worldwide, which offer more than 9 million antiquarian books on the ZVAB."

The site offers a free information packet to interested sellers (please specify whether you need an English version). Aside from assuring potential sellers that there are English-speaking personnel on staff, Z VAB is currently offering an incentive: "You can have a trial period of up to three months to try out for yourself the advantages of ZVAB membership without any financial risk whatsoever. Should the results of your initial membership of ZVAB not live up to your expectations and you do not wish to continue in membership of ZVAB, we will not invoice you for this initial period."

For more information: email mitgliedwerden@zvab.com or send a fax to 0049 30 24 00 86 10.
