If you know what you're talking about, we want to talk to you. The Bookologist is looking for writers to share their bookselling knowledge with our readers. Previous writing experience isn't necessary; a strong command of your topic and an ability to write clearly about it are. At present, there is no payment for contributions, but this is a great method for giving your business more exposure. Any or all of the following information will accompany your article: name, email address, auction ID, business name or URL - and even a photograph. This information will also be added to our Authors page.
Please do not submit entire articles. Queries should include a clear presentation of your idea and your background, especially as it pertains to your ability to write about the proposed topic. Once an article is assigned, there is no guarantee of publication for first-time writers. A contract must be signed before publication. To submit a query or for additional details, email the editor, Craig Stark, at craig@bookologist.com.
All ideas related to bookselling are welcome, but special needs include articles about selling books in venues other than eBay and Amazon Marketplace, niche markets, book and software reviews, and unusual marketing strategies.
